EVERYONE CAN PAINT
In the Amateur’s Art Department, anyone who loves Painting and wants to learn all the basic skills and develop their technique can participate. Students are taught to design and use:
• Drawing Materials (pencil, charcoal, pastel, Blue ink)
• Measure (using needle, scale, ratios, axes)
• rules of perspective, shadowing, line-light
• Color materials (plastic, acrylic, oil, pastel, wood paint)
• Colors (main – complementary)
• Colors (warm – cold)
while there are dead Nature studies as well as studies on Free Subjects.
WORKSHOP'S EQUIPMENT
The Art Workshop ”EnTechnon” is fully equipped with compositions, in order to simulate and properly prepare for the exams at the Schools of Fine Arts.
TEACHING
Analogue and perspective drawing with charcoal, ink and pencil are taught, as well as color techniques with acrylics, watercolors and inks.
METHODOLOGY
At first the student will practice black and white drawings on various subjects. Compositions, Dead Nature, Landscapes and Portraits.
Furthermore, the same topics are approached by the student but this time using colors.
In this way, Amateur painters acquire all the necessary supplies and basic knowledge to express feelings through the Art of painting and acquire their own “Artistic identity”.

Every year, the Program for all Departments starts in September and finish at the end of July, while they are held on weekdays (depending on the needs and flexibility of each student) from 10:00am – 2:00pm. and from 17:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The teaching program is defined by the Artistic director always in consultation with the student.
